CNC technical requirements in sheet metal processing

Sheet metal refers to the deformation of some sheet metal materials by hand or die stamping to form the required shape and size, and can be further welded or a small amount of machining to form more complex parts. Sheet metal processing is called sheet metal processing. Sheet metal parts are thin-plate hardware, that is, parts that can be processed by sheet metal. During the machining process, the parts with constant thickness are castings.

The CNC sheet metal processing is to use CNC technology in the basic sheet metal processing, which can perform better processing operations on the workpiece and obtain better processing results.

In CNC sheet metal processing, its processing methods are divided into the following types:

1. Single stamping: Single stamping is to complete some stamping processes such as arcs and grid holes in a single time.

2. Continuous blanking: divided into the same direction and multiple directions. The same direction is mainly carried out by overlapping the molds, and the multiple directions are the large hole processing of the small mold.

3. Array forming: It is to process multiple workpieces on large pieces of material, and its workpiece types can be the same or different.

The advantages of CNC sheet metal processing:

(1) Compared with ordinary sheet metal processing, CNC sheet metal processing is simpler and more convenient to use. For some workpieces with complex shapes, it can automatically complete the processing. Moreover, its low input cost can help enterprises improve economic efficiency.

(2) The quality of the finished product is also very good, because of its good flatness and high punching precision, so that the product can have good consistency.

(3) Because it can realize mass production and the production speed is fast, it can improve the production efficiency.

(4) CNC machine tools are currently entering the era of high-speed processing. The rapid movement and positioning of moving parts of CNC machine tools and high-speed cutting processing reduce the turnaround time between processes of semi-finished products and improve production efficiency.
